• Upon signature of the Session Agreement and the payment of the retainer, La Lumiere shall reserve the time and date agreed upon. Unless La Lumiere Photography is able to fully replace the canceled reservation, all sitting fees and retainers are non-refundable.

• An online gallery will be available for viewing within three weeks and will be online for a total of five (5) days of your choosing. A link will be sent to let you know when the images are ready and ask you to select the five days which will best fit your schedule. The photographer will determine the number of proofs provided and reserves all artistic control to discard images that do not meet her standards.  Re-hosting or extending the gallery viewing time will incur a fee of $25/day.

•Sessions consist of about one to two hours of shooting time on location in Jacksonville, Wilmington, or the surrounding areas.

•Portrait sessions are for up to 6 people.

•Basic retouching such as blemish removal is standard.  Complicated retouching (sunburns, severe acne, etc.) will be an additional fee of $50/hour, minimum one half hour.

• Any location expenses (such as, but not limited to, fees to shoot in a park or other public location) shall be covered by Client. Client and Photographer both agree to pay their individual travel expenses to and from the location, provided it is within a one hour drive from Photographer’s home.  Travel beyond that distance will incur additional travel fees.

• Photographer shall be the only person allowed to obtain photographs during the session.  No video, cameras, or camera phones, please.

• The charges in this contract are based on La Lumiere Photography’s standard price list. This price list is adjusted periodically and future orders shall be charged at the prices in effect at the time when the order is placed.  Pricing at booking is valid for 30 days after the gallery is live.  Current pricing shall apply thereafter.

• Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales are final.

• Handle your portraits with extreme care. Damage incurred as a result of improper handling, framing or hanging is the responsibility of the client.

• Client is aware that color dyes in photography may fade or discolor over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes, and Client releases Photographer from any liability for any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discoloration due to such inherent qualities.

• All orders must be pre-paid. Orders may be paid via cash, check, credit card, or Paypal. Orders take 2-3 weeks to arrive after payment has been received. Custom art products such as albums and gallery wrapped canvas may take 4-6 weeks.

• Clients shall indemnify and hold harmless Photographer from any loss, damage or liability resulting from Client’s violation of the terms of this agreement or any agreement involving Client and the Photographer. Clients shall indemnify and hold harmless Photographer from any loss, damage or liability resulting from this agreement or portrait session. Client shall indemnify Photographer and hold her harmless from and against any claim by any other person or entity resulting from the performance of services under this agreement.

Copyright Policy
• Client agrees not to alter any files or images received (emailed, uploaded for printing, or any other form Client may have access to) in any manner. Photographer retains the copyright to all images obtained. Scanning, digitally editing, printing, or any other alteration of the image is considered theft and will incur a $500 fee per image altered. Photographer also reserves the right to pursue legal action for copyright infringement if necessary.
