I had the spectacular honor of attending Quinn’s birth on Thursday and Friday of last week. Andrea’s husband is deployed to Afghanistan at the moment and in discussing her Maternity photos, I decided to offer to be there for the birth as well. Andrea accepted and I received the phone call that she was in labor on Thursday afternoon. Andrea labored for over 30 hours, and I was in awe for most of that time, as well as in tears on several occasions. She handled it amazingly well and the level of emotion involved still awes me. Quinn eventually made his arrival by cesarean section on Friday afternoon and both Andrea and Quinn are doing well. The following is a small sample of the images from the 30 hours I spent with Andrea and her family.
I hope to capture many more images of Quinn, so stay tuned over the coming weeks for more of this adorable little boy.
