About Me: I like chocolate, children, chocolate, laughter, chocolate, coffee, and taking your picture. Not necessarily in that order. Did I mention chocolate? Oh right, photography ... in all seriousness, catching that fleeting connection between people (you know, the one that makes you all warm and fuzzy inside) is just about my favorite thing in the world. {Oh to have his energy!} – Wilmington, NC Family Photographer

Last weekend I met up with a lovely family and hung out with them for a little bit on North Topsail Beach. Spencer, even at five years old and 7pm, was full of life and energy! I wish I could tap into that, I’d get so much done!

I had to share a quick one – it’s one of the few truly genuine smiles he gave me for a head shot and I just grin every time I see it! I think the grin totally captures his zeal for the world around him.

I might even see a little twinkle of boyish mischief in those eyes. What do you think?

{Their Story} – Wilmington, NC Newborn Photographer

I’m way behind on blogging but I had to share this! I delivered this order on Thursday and it was one of my favorite sessions to date. The order captured their session and the love within their growing family so perfectly that it just made my heart happy.

This client purchased one of my collections, which are structured so that you’re not locked into a certain size/number of prints or products. Everyone’s photo plans are different and I didn’t want to limit the possibilities by asking a client to choose from a limited print option. They built their own photo package using the collection structure and saved a good bit of money versus buying a la carte in the process! It definitely tells their story, their way. What will your story be?
